Communion in the Hand and DIY Christianity

⁣In the name of the epidemic caused by the Coronavirus, attempts have been made to impose Communion on the hand as a healthier way. This is all to be proven. But the real problem is theological: Communion on the hand is an indult and not a universal law that conveys an idea of Christianity, as well as of the Mass and the Eucharist. Why not start with Communion in the mouth and on the knees to reverse a trend that now seems inexorable: the emptying of our parishes. Could we not also make this a pastoral experiment?
